The Town of Baldwin Maine is soliciting fixed price, per gallon bids for #2 Heating Oil and Diesel Fuel.
The Town uses approximately 9500 gallons of heating oil annually that serves the Fire Department, Municipal Garage, Community Center, and the Town Office. Approximately 7000 gallons of diesel fuel is used between the Town Garage and Fire Department.
A winter blend mix of 70/30 by November 1, 2020 is required.
The Town is looking for a contract to cover a one-year period for up to the above quantities. Any limitations or restrictions on the bid must be included in your bid submittal. Bids will be awarded separately for both heating oil and diesel.
Sealed and written bids must be received at the Baldwin Town Office by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. The bids will be publicly opened that evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Selectmen's meeting.
The Baldwin Municipal Officers reserve the right to accept or reject any and all offers submitted which are not in the Town's best interest as determined by the municipal officers.
