Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., the Town of Baldwin Select Board will hold a public hearing to discuss the proposed public assistance ordinance and appendices. The meeting will be held prior to the Select Board workshop at the Baldwin Town Office.
In accordance with Title 22 M.R.S.A Section 4305, the Town of Baldwin is required to administer a general assistance program in accordance with an ordinance enacted by the municipal officers after seven day of posted notice and a hearing.
New draft general assistance ordinance and appendices have been prepared and a copy is available for viewing at the Town Office and on the Town website.
