Come on over to the Hiram Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 12 noon for the annual Trashcan Turkey Roast.
This rain or shine event includes a mouthwatering lunch ($8) which includes turkey, BBQ pork, baked beans, coleslaw and dessert.
Some say the trashcan turkey is the most tender and juicy turkey they have ever had!
The Community Center is located at 14 Historical Ridge, Hiram, Maine.
Located at 20 Historical Ridge Rd., the Great Ossipee Museum will also be open from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM and will be featuring new exhibits on schools and churches.
There will be live music by David Foley, an antique road grader exhibit, and a raffle. It's an afternoon of fun and a great way to celebrate the season.
