Sacopee Valley Students Receive New Book

Parsonsfield, Maine resident Stephen Tibbetts donated a new book to every third grader at Sacopee Valley Elementary School on June 10, 2025. Each student received a copy of “Stuey & Veronica,” written by Parsonsfield resident and children’s book author Teresa Pelham. This is the second year Tibbetts has made this donation, which gives the students a book to read over the summer before heading to Sacopee Valley Middle School in the fall. The students were treated to Pelham’s energetic presentation, which includes a reading of her books, a slideshow about dog rescue, and some lessons in writing.
