Mindfulness Meditation on Sunday’s At The Sacred Self

Updated: Jul 18, 2020

Starting Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., The Sacred Self, at 172 Main Street in Cornish, will be holding a weekly class, Mindfulness Meditation with Lea Moon.

There you will practice meditation with the intention of embodying presence. Through compassionate mindfulness, you will bring your awareness into the present moment cultivating your capacity to be a loving-witness of what “is.”

Mindfulness Meditation is scientifically proven to alleviate stress, anxiety, compulsive thoughts, and addiction. It changes habitual brain patterns and enables practitioners to become masters of their emotions and reactions to experience.

Lea will offer teachings and/or discussions on self-realization, embodiment, and presence with each Satsang (spiritual talk) being unique and reflective of that day's practice.

Lea’s approach to teaching is unique. She is not interested in being a Scholar, Guru, or Authority. She is deeply curious about the unfolding perfection of presence and of how that animates and manifest uniquely through all. Her teachings, feedback, answers, and practices are offered loosely as a means to engage, explore, and experiment with embodied presence and compassionate mindfulness. You are the sovereign self. Enjoy!  A sliding scale donation of $5-15 is requested, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
