Back by ‘popular’ demand! "Married with Chitlins" is an acoustic music duo that performs Traditional American music; Old Time Country and Blues; some Jazz standards; and Celtic reels and jigs. The band is mainly guitar and fiddle with a strong female lead vocal with harmonies.
Chris spent 30 years in music production/engineering in Boston with over 1000 titles to his credit including numerous Boston Music Award winning artists; a Ken Burns documentary soundtrack; touring as a bass player and recording in a band with Ben Orr (the Cars); recordings and live sound support for Peter Wolf (J Giles Band); and Studio support for Carly Simon and Don Was.
With five solo albums to her credit, Liz cut her teeth as a performance artist steeped deeply in the blues. Her duo with Chris has her expanding out into other traditional forms of music.
Chris and Liz now homestead off the grid. New recordings forthcoming were performed in their solar powered studio.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the performance beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for ages 65 and over, $8 for children under 18, and $35 per family
