Here is a list of the upcoming events brought to you by the Denmark Arts Center.
Friday, May 24, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Art Opening with emerging artist Jake Hall and his collection Nature’s Beauty

“I’ve been painting in oil for about two years, but I’ve been an artist all my life,” stated Jake Hall. “My work explores nature through a romantic, atmospheric lens—focusing on mood, light, and texture rather than strict realism. Art is my way of expressing emotion, presence, and human connection to the world.”
Jake recently showed his work at the Roux & Cyr Gallery, in Portland. His show at Denmark Arts Center will run from May 24 through July 6. Free and open to the public, food and beverages compliments of Hannaford & National Distributors. Denmark Arts Center gallery is open Saturdays & Sundays from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Friday, June 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. - Pine Tree Punchlines with Headliner Stephen Bjork & observations from everyday life

The talented Ben Chadwick will open the evening. Ben is a house comic and producer at Empire Comedy Club in Portland and Pine Tree Punchlines. He has performed with several notable acts including Joe List, Big Jay Oakerson, and Ari Shaffir.
Stephen Bjork has come a long way from the nights of frying up mozzarella sticks in the back room of an obscure comedy club in the Boston suburbs. He was a college student, using that part-time job to study the craft of stand-up comedy by catching glimpses of the performers on stage.
Today, Steve Bjork is a polished veteran of the highly competitive Boston comedy scene with crisscrossing tours of the country under his belt. His material is intelligent; sometimes absurd, and always accessible, but first and foremost it is funny. What truly sets him apart from the teeming crowd of today’s comedians is that you never have to ask Bjork to work ‘clean.’
Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Afternoon Dance Party with DJ XO

DJ XO Lets Go will get you pumped up with the rhythm of a hyped Afternoon Dance Party. Get dressed up or dressed down but plan on moving your booty to pulsing lights and a down beat that just won’t let go! Dragon Wagon’s yum yum food truck will be onsite available and Denmark Arts Center will have beer, wine, and Grandy Organic nuts!
