Children's author to visit Kezar Falls Circulating Library

Teresa Pelham and her rescue dog Roxy will be reading two of her children books Roxy And Her Annoying Little Brother, Stuey and Roxy’s Forever Home on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

They travel to elementary schools to share their stories and give children a change to learn about caring for animals as well as animal adoption. She has donated books to several schools in the area, and hopes to be invited to visit those schools. While kids are able to order personalized and signed books at some visits, others are "sponsored" by businesses and individuals, which enables her to give books to a class, a grade or even an entire school.

This spring, Teresa and her boyfriend purchased a cabin in Parsonsfield and are happy to be part of our community.

"We love it here and have really enjoyed the friendliness of the people in Maine. " - Teresa Pelham

The library event is free and open to all. There will be books available for purchase and much of the proceeds will go to animal rescue groups.
