Bikes-4-Books Summer Reading Program

Updated: Jul 18, 2020

Why is Summer Reading Important?

A Summer Reading Program helps kids read and learn all summer! This helps keep their skills up and have fun. When kids stop reading, they actually lose some of what they learned over the school year. This is called the "summer slide."

By offering the bikes-4-books summer reading program sponsored by Drummond Masonic Lodge 118, the Kezar Falls Library strives to give kids a fun reason to keep reading and encourage them to read what they like best. They hope to hold off the "summer slide" and keep kids ready for continued learning in the fall.

Registration begins June 18, 2019 at the Kezar Falls Library. The program, which runs from June 18-August 19, is open to children entering grades K-3.
