Town of Baldwin Public Hearings:
Proposed Baldwin Fire Department Ordinance and Closure of Roads for Winter Maintenance.
The Baldwin Select Board will hold two public hearing on September 26, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
at the Community Center.
The FIRST will address the draft Baldwin Fire Department Ordinance, the last step in transitioning Baldwin’s three volunteer fire companies into a unified municipal fire department.
A copy of the draft is available at www.baldwinmaine.org or a paper copy is available at the Baldwin Town Office.
A special town meeting will be announced at a later date to vote on the proposed ordinance.
The SECOND public hearing will follow immediately after to review the proposed list of road closures for winter maintenance.
The list of roads to be considered is available a www.baldwinmaine.org or a paper copy is available at the town office.
The Select Board will vote at their next Select Board Meeting on any decision to annul, alter, or modify the existing determinations.
