Are you looking for a way to help your community? The Baldwin Fire Department is looking for volunteer firefighters. There are a variety of positions available, including firefighters, scene support, and traffic control. Training is provided.
Commitments include attending monthly training, department meetings, and meeting the standards and requirements directed by federal and state guidelines.
Members must have a clean driving record and be 18 years of age or older. Junior firefighters, ages 16-18, are welcome.
After a trial period, members are issued a radio and equipment and are required to maintain equipment in good condition.
