8/31 Election for State Senate and State Representative

The Election for State Senate and State Representative will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Pike Hall - 17 Maple Street, Cornish. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the event begins at 6:30 p.m.

District 22 (Naples, Sebago, Baldwin, Standish, Hiram, Cornish, Limerick, porter, Parsonsfield, Newfield, Shapleigh, Acton, Limington)

• Nate Burnett (D) has accepted

• Kim Pomerleau (R) has been invited

House District 138 (Cornish, Limington, Buxton (part), Hollis (part)

• Jon Kinney (R) has accepted

• Oliver McAvoy (D) has accepted

Sacopee Community Forum (SCF) is a non-partian group of folks from our neighboring towns who discuss and act on world and local affairs.

The group has been active for the past 25 years and we meet monthly via Zoom. Because the elections taking place on November 3 are so important, the SCF is bringing candidates to the area for voters to meet.
