Updated: Oct 21, 2019

Sponsored by Cornish Area Businesses, the 30th Annual Apple Festival will take place on Saturday. September 28, 2019, from 9:00AM - 4:00PM.

This year's event is packed with vendors and entertainment.

  • Live Entertainment

  • Artists, Crafters, Vendors & Food

  • Apple Pie Contest & Auction Sat. @11:00 on the front porch of The Inn at Cornish - Guest Judge Miss Maine 2019 Carolyn Brady

  • Antique Show & Vintage Fair at The Cornish Fair Grounds - Where you can grab the free shuttle to the Festival

  • Heather Masse Concert Friday Night at Pike Hall

  • 2 Free Shuttles to and from the Park - Parking lots at Cornish Fairgrounds & Phat Boys

  • Apple Acres Bluegrass Festival

  • Historical Society Pie Sale

  • Raffles & Silent Auction

  • Supper at UCC Church

  • Book Sale @ Bonney Library

This year, due to the growing crowd, CAB has organized a second parking lot in the Stone Ridge Plaza (where Phat Boys is located), and a FREE shuttle to and from the festival.

"We are hoping that providing free parking lots and shuttles at both ends of the village will help with the flow of traffic and also make sure there is room for emergency vehicles." Heather Newman, Apple Festival Chair

All of the folks who run the event are volunteers, and most are members of Cornish Area Businesses. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact cornishareabusinesses@gmail.com.

There have been rumors of the festival moving, which may happen in the future to ensure safety, but at this time the plan is to stay in the park and re-evaluate after 2019.

This year marks the 30th year of the Apple Festival, a bit of history: the Apple Festival was originally started by the Sacopee Valley Health Center. Who knew?!
