Sacopee Valley High School earned the top high school honor in Maine, and Wells Junior High School won the middle/elementary category for the state in the Fall 2025 Vocabulary Bowl, the world’s largest academic contest. This is an impressive feat, as this was the biggest season to date, drawing in one million students from 6,000 schools spanning 120 countries!Â

Wells Junior High School mastered 3,850 wordsÂ
