Town of Limerick Property Sale by Public Auction

The Selectmen of Limerick, pursuant to the authority conferred by Article 21 (B) in the warrant for and approved at the annual town meeting for Limerick, held Saturday, March 14, 2020, will hold a public auction of selected parcels located in Limerick.


Due to COVID-19, the sale will be by sealed bid. All bids must be received by 12:00 p.m. on November 16, 2020. The bids will be opened at the Selectmen Meeting on November 16, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brick Town Hall, 11 Main Street, Limerick.


  • Parcel A - Map 15, Lot 6 - Quarry Road, 5.3 acres, minimum bid $4,000.


  • Parcel B - Map 23, Lot 48B-2 (0.52 acres), Map 23, Lot 48B-4, (0.53 acres), Map 23, Lot 48B-6 (0.56 acres) - Allaire Drive, Allaire Subdivision, minimum bid $0.00. This property is on a private road not built to Town standards. The winning bidder will need to bring the road up to Town standards before a building permit can be issued. The winning bidder will have one year from the recording date of the deed to complete the road. A performance bond for the cost of the road will be required at closing.


  • Parcel C - Map 27, Lot 2 - Central Avenue just past Leavitt Brook Road, 4.2 acres, minimum bid $7,000.


The winning bids will be required to send in a 10% deposit within 7 days of notification. The remaining funds must be paid within 30 days by certified check.
