November 8th Business After Hours

A networking event for area business owners and professionals.

Cornish Association of Businesses presents their fall Business After Hours, hosted by Spirit Flow Pathways, and Remington Insurance.

I still remember the first Business After Hours I attended at the Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce years ago when I was new to the advertising field, and totally out of my element. I was feeling a bit nervous to just walk up to strangers and introduce myself, but I knew that's what we were all there to do.

Meeting new people can be nerve racking for some, and talking about your business in public can be even harder. The great thing about a BAH, is that it is meant to foster a causal, low-pressure business networking environment, and encourage attendees to talk about their businesses. Arrive when you can, for the amount of time that you can. Snacks and beverages are provided by the host, a brief presentation is given, and usually there are a few door prizes. It is a great way to get to know other professionals and business owners in the area.

A Business After Hours event also offers an opportunity for businesses to invite local professionals to visit their location and learn about their services.
