NOTICE OF FILING WITH THE FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION
FOR THE HIRAM HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT -
Please take notice that Brookfield White Pine Hydro LLC (White Pine Hydro or Licensee) of 150 Main Street, Lewiston, Maine 04240, (207) 755-5603, filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) an Application for New License for a Major Water Power Project – Existing Dam (License Application) for the Hiram Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 2530 (Hiram Project). The License Application provides details of the Licensee’s proposal to seek a new license from FERC for the continued operation of the existing Hiram Project located on the Saco River in Oxford and Cumberland Counties, and the towns of Hiram, Baldwin, Denmark, and Brownfield, Maine.
The License Application was filed with FERC on November 20, 2020. The License Application is
