Christmas in Cornish - an annual holiday tradition

For many people the annual event Christmas in Cornish, which is held on the first Friday & Saturday of December, is a Christmas tradition with the tree lighting, hot cocoa, and caroling on Friday night, followed by the Polar Express Trail and visits with Santa at The Inn at Cornish on Saturday. Many businesses offer deals, goodies, and more all weekend long. This event coincides with the Annual Christmas in Limerick festival happening right down the road.

On Friday, children are invited to a reading of the Polar Express at the library where they will receive a punch card to use on Saturday. Don't worry if you can't make it to story time, punch cards will also be available at the Tree Lighting as well as at participating businesses on Saturday. Kids visit each business to enjoy a treat or activity, and to have their card stamped.

Santa will be waiting at the Inn at Cornish where children turn in their punch cards and receive a gift from the jolly old soul himself! Cards must be turned in by 2PM on Saturday. You do not need to participate in the Polar Express Trail to visit him!
