8/15 Jack Wadsworth Presents - Walking Along the Wadsworth Grant

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., join Hiram Historical Society for a viewing of Jack Wadsworth's new video Walking Along the Wadsworth Grant which narrates as he points out modern landmarks while walking the boundaries of General Peleg Wadsworth's land grant, the largest in Hiram.


It was 7800 acres of land extending from the Saco River to Ossipee River and north to Clemons Pond that the General purchased in 1790 for 12 1/2 cents per acre.


This free event will take place at Hiram Historical Society, 20 Historical Ridge, Hiram (off Main Street, Rt 117). Light refreshments will be served. The museum will also be open from 9:30 a.m - 12:00 p.m.
