8/13 Biomes: Discover the Habitats of the World! with a Chewonki Science Educator

Calling all families! The Denmark Public Library will present Biomes: Discover the Habitats of the World! Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Bicentennial Park, 55 W Main Street in Denmark.

Join us for an exciting, hands-on science adventure!

A Chewonki Science Educator will explore the Earth’s major biome - from deserts and forests to oceans and tundra - through fun, interactive and up-close encounters with:

• Live Animal Ambassadors - see three live non-releasable animals, each representing one of the three major biomes

• Fascinating Bio Artifacts

• Hands-On Learning Activities

• Expert Naturalist Presentation

Discover how animals and plants adapt to their habitats and what we can all do to help protect these amazing environments.

This program is perfect for children and families and supports learning through curiosity, wonder, and hands-on discovery.
