Saturday, October 12th, 2019, at 1:30 p.m., come to a concert celebrating farmers, rural life, and the pursuit of the common good when local musician Katherine Rhoda performs Vintage Grange Songs for the Hiram Historical Society.
The Grange (Patrons of Husbandry) has a rich heritage of song, with a number of songbooks published starting in 1874.
A business meeting precedes the concert at 1:00 p.m., consisting of the announcement of the recipient of the Hubert W. Clemons Award for Outstanding Service to the Town of Hiram and the election of Vice-President and Treasurer. Since it will be a little chilly the meeting will be held at the Hiram Community Center across the parking lot.
